2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Among Slowest Depreciations

In a lot of ways, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is an awesome automobile, and much of it has to do with the fact that it offers so much by way of luxuries and creature comforts while also possessing the ability to tow, haul and traverse many terrains.

There is, however, another reason to love the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G-Class: it puts thousands of dollars in your pocket without you having to do a single thing other than choose that particular automobile.

The reason why is something a lot of consumers don't really think about when buying a vehicle, but rate of depreciation is something worth considering when making an important decision on a luxury automobile. That's because the average automobile depreciates 17% in the first year alone, and while all Mercedes-Benz vehicles typically do much better than that, none hold their value better than the G-Class, which loses only 8% of its value in the first twelve months.

While it's never a fun thing to talk about a vehicle losing value, the reality is that it happens to most cars. Selecting one that holds more of its value longer is an easy way to make sure money stays in your pocket, especially when we're talking about a vehicle in this price range holding onto 9% more of its value than average. That's a difference of thousands of dollars, which obviously is nothing to shake a stick at.

As your Mercedes-Benz dealer, we'd be glad to take you out for a test drive of the new G-Class to see if it's right for you, but at the very least you can rest assured that it's about as wise a financial decision as one can make in this segment.
